I Can’t Wait!

This year we are going to pursue God’s presence like never before, fellowship, develop core values in our lives, and be a part of an amazing mission God has laid out for Eagle’s Nest Fellowship.
Who would have thought that Last year would hold so many powerful things as a church?
- We’ve seen a large number of people come to Christ
- We’ve seen people healed and restored
- We’ve seen our Church grow by nearly a hundred people
- We’ve baptized over 30 people
- We’ve seen our youth and children’s ministry grow
- We’ve new faces and talents fill up our Worship Department
- ethos has grown and taken shape as we’ve moved into the main auditorium
- We’ve defined our goal of becoming an Authentic Biblical Community
- We’ve defined our core values
- We’ve had a huge Easter Production, Camp Meeting involving other Church’s Worship Teams, A Volunteer Banquet, New Song Concert, Training Days, Fellowship Dinners, Nights of Worship, launching of WKNZ, a new Christian Radio station to be opened in the coming months, Chris Sligh Concert, a massive Christmas Program that involved over 40 people and saw people come to faith Christ!
- We even had a Wii Bowling Tournament
- All of this is above having 104 worship services (ethos and Sunday morning), small groups, over 20 ministries in house, supporting over 8 missions outside the church, running a Christian school of nearly 500 students, and ministering daily to families in the community through benevolence, counseling, and outreach ~ and I’m sure I am missing some things.
None of this would happen without the move of God and your willingness to be used by Him! Can you even begin to imaging how much more amazing this year is going to be? I just can’t wait!

- The ethos Band rocked it out – thanks for leading us to the throne room! I loved the new song Rain Down. It’s from the worship album We Cry Out. If you would like to find out more or pick the disk up, visit www.jesusculture.org.
- It has been amazing to watch the Lord grow our community over these last seven weeks since the move! Keep up the passion and excitement! Invite you friends! Get Involved!
- We need people who have a heart for children to become invovled with nursery for Sunday nights. There are a number of families who would like to come, but cannot because of our lack of child care. Pray about it and get in touch with Pastor Scott.
- If you haven’t gotten your Chris Sligh tickets yet, make sure you do! It’s going to be awesome! Visit www.wknz.org to pick up tickets for you and your friends! They are only 10 bucks so buy extra and give some away!

We aren’t going to tip all are cards just yet, but we are putting some super crazy ideas in the mix! I hope you guys are excited to see what God is going to do as we make this HUGE step of faith, believing that this is what He wants for us. Come out this week as we talk about turning up the volume and what that means for us as christians! We’re gonna have lots of new things and its going to be awesome. Keep praying about how you should get involved and where… But remember, like scott said tonight… we want to make JESUS famous, and at the point it becomes show, we want no part. Come, join us! Be apart of this family, this authentic biblical community.

The Move Is On
Posted in Community, Events, General Info. on August 31, 2008 by Scott HobbsWOW! What an exciting time for ethos! There are some amazing things in store for the next few weeks! You not only don’t want to miss it, you want to make sure that you are bringing some folks with you!
This Sunday: We’re going to be talking about Baptism – Why? How? When? and much more! Also, the Worship Team from the Sunday Morning Service is coming to hang out with us!
Next week (the 7th): We’re having a night of worship and prayer with the whole church! We will have various worship leaders (including some of our own ethos folks), great times of prayer for our church, nation, and world, and we will close our night with Baptisms! If you would like to be baptized, let Pastor Scott know at ethos our by email.
September 14th: We’re taking over the Sanctuary on Sunday nights! It’s going to be awesome! We’ll be stepping up the Cafe’ with new products and we’ll be stepping up our worship service! BRING SOMEBODY!

We want to being to promote ethos beyond our walls/friends/people we see regularly/people we think to talk to when we feel like talking to them… Don’t get me wrong we would like them to come hang out with us too. But our hope with this tee-shirt design is that its cool enough to wear anywhere and that people will ask about it. +it will have the ethos web address on it. You never know who might see it and come to Jesus because you happened to be wearing it. Plus its going to be awesome looking!!!
